About

Situated on a scenic 276-acre campus in La Plume, Pennsylvania, Keystone College is best known for its supportive, student-centered environment and career-focused education, boasting premier programs in wildlife biology, forensic science, business, and criminal justice. The student experience is defined by a close-knit, active campus culture where undergraduates can participate in competitive NCAA Division III athletics, join diverse student organizations, and enjoy abundant outdoor recreation along the adjoining Tunkhannock Creek. What truly sets Keystone apart is its commitment to hands-on learning through its unique Woodland Campus, which serves as an outdoor living laboratory, alongside its formal "Keystone Promise" which guarantees graduates will secure a job or be accepted into graduate school within six months of graduation.

Wikipedia:Keystone College is a private college in northeastern Pennsylvania, United States. Although the college's official mailing address is La Plume, Pennsylvania in Lackawanna County, much of the campus is in Factoryville in Wyoming County. It was founded in 1868 and enrolls approximately 1,200 students in around 40 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. In November 2024, following over a decade of enrollment and revenue decreases, the college's accreditor, by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), planned to withdraw its accreditation, but the decision on an exact withdrawal date is now subject to an appeal.
