About

As a premier public research university and the nation's pioneer land-grant institution, Michigan State University (MSU) is widely recognized for its vibrant Big Ten athletics, expansive campus along the Red Cedar River, and passionate Spartan spirit. Undergraduates thrive in top-tier programs across the Eli Broad College of Business—consistently ranked number one in the nation for supply chain management—as well as prestigious colleges of engineering, education, and agricultural sciences. The student experience is incredibly dynamic, offering a collaborative culture with over 900 student organizations, bustling game days, and robust undergraduate research opportunities. What truly sets MSU apart is its perennially top-ranked study abroad program and its unique living-learning residential colleges, like the Lyman Briggs College for sciences, which offer the close-knit community of a small liberal arts school within a powerhouse global university.
